With the 2009 season rapidly approaching, the Davis Vipers are gearing up for their ninth season of Semi Pro Football.

2008 brought many changes with key veteran players either moving to another RMFL team, or deciding to hang up their cleats and observe from the sidelines. Fast forward to 2009 and then hit rewind Davis Viper veterans appear to be a valued commodity and more have nestled in with their 2008 departing brethren. With seven new teams this season, there were major shifts in several RMFL teams, not just the Vipers.

However, with adversity comes opportunity. The Vipers are highly optimistic after the 2009 try outs with new talent, and the return of many veteran players and coaching staff. We have our work cut out for us, but you do not hold the reigns of the oldest private football organization in Utah by fearing change or work!

The Vipers made the decision to move to AA for the 2009 season which will present a more level playing opportunity for what is basically a new team.

The Vipers would like to welcome back all the returning and new RMFL semi pro teams this year!
