With the 2010 season rapidly approaching, the Davis Vipers are gearing up for their tenth season of Semi Pro Football.

Davis Vipers will once again be playing in the Rocky Mountain Football League AA.

I apologize for the slow update on the Davis Vipers site this year....other obligations kept me from doing so.

Having just today, met all the new 2010 Davis Vipers, and watched them take the field against a team that out numbered, out weighed, and was nearly the AA champion in 2009...

What I saw today with this team, some veterans, and a lot of new players...you have a lot to be proud of.

I am reminded of my favorite "based on a true story" football speech given by a coach. Whether this coach actually gave this speech verbatim is not important, but the words are.

To the 2010 Davis Vipers I offer the following;

"I want to tell you, they don't know your heart...I do..I've seen it, you have shown it to me. You have shown this coaching staff, your team mates, you have shown yourselves just who you are in your heart.

When you take that field..you've gotta lay that heart on the line from the soles of youer feet, with every ounce of blood you've got in your body. Lay it on until the final whistle blows! If you do that.....If you do that, we can not loose!

How you play, from this moment on...is how you will be remembered. This Is your opportunity to grab glory!
