The Davis Vipers are! Entering their 8th year of Utah Semi Pro Football competition, and are gearing up for the upcoming 2008 Rocky Mountain Football League season. Opening kickoff is set for Saturday April 5, 2008, the first pre-season game is March 20. The Davis Vipers have been hard at it, in the pre-season, practicing & preparing for this year's RMFL battles.
A disappointing loss to the Missoula Raptors in last years semi-finals, leaves this Viper team with a focus on one thing & one thing only…… The 2008 RMFL Championship. With the Viper team coming close the last couple seasons, only to watch another team hoist the trophy, our determination, & commitment to winning is stronger than ever.
The Vipers will compete against teams from all over Utah, Idaho, & Montana in our quest to bring a championship home to Davis County.
The Vipers proudly announce Davis High School in Kaysville, as their home field for the 2008 season. A special thanks to all that have made this possible.
Football at its finest. The Vipers’ players aren’t paid. They don’t have shoe deals. Most have families, and all have to go to work on Monday. The Vipers are a group of guys that love to play football. Although some have gone on to play college ball, most are just living the dream of continuing to play ball as long as they can. Players range from guys just out of high school, to approaching 40. The Davis Vipers’ experience at the semi-pro level ranges from 7yrs to 1st year rookies.
The Coaching staff brings plenty of credentials & experience to the field as well. Coaches Rex Stacy, Keith Malnar, & Terry Allen look to have this Viper squad firing off & ready to do Davis County’s Semi Pro football fans proud. So if you want to see some football in one of its purest forms, check out your Davis Vipers this year. Season tickets are now on sale, or you can catch us on Comcast channel 17, The Davis Channel.

After a successful 2007 RMFL season, and the return of most of our veterans, we are excited to have discovered many new promising additions to the Davis Vipers this season.
