A special thanks to the Logan Stampede for making the trip from Logan, to Founders Park in Syracuse this afternoon. It wasn’t the game that we all wanted to see Thursday night but, both teams were able to get some good work in.
A controlled scrimmage with both teams getting 4 possessions of 10 plays each and a little special teams work seemed to be good for both teams as they prepare for the upcoming RMFL (Rocky Mountain Football League) season opener on April 5th.
Things get a little more serious next Saturday as Davis Vipers play host to the Strippling Warriors in a preseason game at Davis High School, kickoff scheduled for 2:00pm. The Davis Vipers are working on a backup field in the event the field conditions are unplayable next Saturday.

Pre season game Davis Vipers vs Strippling Warriorz canceled
Unfortunately the much anticipated pre season game did not happen due to a cancellation by the Warriorz. Rex Stacy scrambled to try and find another team that could step in for the Warriorz, but with such short notice, it just did not work out. Disappointing for all the players, coaches, and fans.
Remember, regular season play starts next weekend, April 5, 2008, against the Utah Heat!
