Rex........... no freakin response..
Sooo.... the following is a Webmaster embellishment, you know, because I can...
I have known Rex for many years, I have been involved with Davis Vipers since 2001, on the sideline (photo, video), and one year in the stands... so I have enough knowledge to write up an un-authorized biography for him here....plus... I am the webmaster... so yeah, I pretty much do what I want :)
I am sure I will get yelled at for this, but hey... no guts no glory, no pain no gain right?
Rex has a true love for the game. He has the best interest of his players at heart and in his head at all times, to the point that he is willing to sacrifice future stats/wins etc.. to help a young player on the Vipers achieve a chance to play college ball when that chance had passed them by, prior to joining the Vipers team, several thus far, and if he has his way, there will be more.
Rex may be the most under-rated coach/GM in the league...and for one reason or another, he has those "haters" out there... I read the boards.. and to be very clear, he would not give me profile information because he felt it would just give all those individuals more fuel... hence, I had to do it myself, at risk of his wrath... so be it.
Rex may not pat every player on the butt and blow up thier ego every time they take a step in the right direction...he's old school... back in the "day" you did your job.. you got satisfaction from doing it..
