In rememberance of Ethan Stacy
The RMFL along with the Davis Vipers were deeply saddened and frankly shocked at the loss of Ethan Stacy. As the world became aware on May 10, Ethan's life ended after suffering severe abuse after arriving in Utah to spend a month with his birth mother and step father (I use those terms loosely).
All RMFL teams adorned a white and blue sticker on their helmets with the initials "ES", blue being the awareness color for child abuse, and of course little Ethan's initials. The Vipers also adopted to wear a blue item, socks, bandana, arm bands, tape etc, in honor and rememberence of Ethan, and as a call for awareness of child abuse that too often ends in the destruction or loss a childs life. Please remember Ethan and his loving family in Virginia, and lets work hard to prevent this from happening to another child.
