Ricky Bailey

A little about Ricky
Ricky is the son of Tre Bailey (#3), Davis Vipers player, and adopted nephew of the bias webmaster ;).  Ricky also plays football for the Clearfield Thunder, coached by Tre and Andy.  Ricky is a great QB, very calm under pressure and very wise in his decision making on the field. Rick used to start on both sides of the ball, until last year when the coaches decided to pull him off defense, as they did not want to risk an injury with him being so valuable as QB...you have never seen a kid so disappointed.
Quick stat review for last four years
Football; QB and Safety - 2 TDs -Rushing, 6 TDs Passing, 6 Extra points, 2 Ints, 1 Fum Rec, 5 Sacks and Team Captain
Basketball; Point Guard - Undefeated for 2 years, over 200 points scored, 46 Assists, 63 Rebounds, 96 Steals, 22 Blocks, 10 Three-Pointers
Baseball; Pitcher and Shortstop, 2-Time All-Star, 2007 Stats; Undefeated Season, .878 Bat Ave, 8 HRs, 1 Triple, 2 Doubles, 10 Singles, 22 RBIs, 22 Runs Scored. PITCHING: 34 Strike-Outs (14 Inn Pitched and hit 3 batters), All-Star Game- 2 HRs, 1 Walk, 3 RBIs, 3 Runs scored and Pitched 2 Inn with 6 Strike-outs. Ricky had 25 At Bats and had 22 hits. He Struck-out only twice all season(swinging for the fences), Popped out once and scored a run & RBI for every hit. 22 Hits, 22 Runs, 22 RBIs.
Happy to have Ricky and Tre involved with the Vipers this year!
A little about Sam.

Sam is the son of #21 Andy Schindler, (Davis Vipers player) and his Mom is the webmaster, and I am not ashamed to say I am bias.  He plays little league football for the Clearfield Thunder, coached by Tre and Andy.  He starts on both offense and defense, and can pretty much step into any position and play it accordingly well except for the line).  He may be small, but he is a great player, the kid can run, and HIT HARD.  Here is a snap shot of his stats for the last four years;
Football RB/CB
9 Rushing TD's (team record) - 1 TD receiving - 4 extra pts. - 1 Int - 3 forced fumbles - 2 fumble recover - 3 sacs -  multiple defended passes, 1 million tackles - Team Captain - led the team to playoffs last two years.
Whilst Sam eats, drinks, sleeps, probably bleeds football, he also plays Basketball (coached by Tre) as Point Guard, undefeated past two years 32 Assists, 15 Rebounds, 37 Steals, 12 Blocks, 1 Three Pointer.
Also, Baseball, coached by Tre and Andy;
Pitcher, Shortstop and 1st Baseman, 2-Time All-Star, 2007-Stats; Undefeated Season, .435 Bat Ave, 3 HRs, 1 Triple, 1 Double, 5 Singles,10 RBIs, 15 Runs Scored. PITCHING: 23 Strike-Outs(9 Inn Pitched and never Hit a batter-most accurate), All-Star Game- 1 HR, 1 Walk, SAC Fly, 3 RBIs, 2 Runs Scored and a Defensive Assist. Sam is the Lead-off Batter and holds the team record for Pitching with 10 Strike-outs in one game out of 12-Batters.  Ok, that was more than "a little about Sam"  ;)
